BBL04 bargains (Fox Sports Fantasy 20/20)

There weren’t many left over from the first bargains article, but here are four players who represent value in the Fox Sports competition.

JONO DEAN (25k, AR) – Listed as an all-rounder but only a batsman at this level. Dean played four games last season and showed impressive glimpses. Looks a clean hitter of the ball. Expect the Strikers to select two of him, Travis Head (70k) and Alex Ross (55k). Keep an eye on all of them.

AARON O’BRIEN (55k, BWL) – An automatic selection for the Renegades and an accomplished T20 cricketer, O’Brien is good value at 55k.

MICHAEL BEER (55k, BWL) – Recently acquired by the Stars from the Scorchers, Beer looks like he’ll be the number one spinner at his new franchise. As an extremely economical bowler, he is well suited to the Fox Sports scoring format in particular.

RYAN CARTERS (55k, WK) – An average of 61 in the Matador Cup shows that Carters is clearly better than his price tag. A word of warning though, the Sixers will add Brad Haddin and Steve Smith to their XI when test availability allows which could see Carters temporarily pushed out.

The good news is the cap in Fox Sports is fairly generous so you shouldn’t need to worry about too many cheap options.
